Car is an emotion for all families to travel in a car with the family, most middle-class families’ emotion is owning a car. But most of the time they buy second-hand cars which causes money loss. But nowadays people have changed a lot regarding buying a car for their family. As we see earlier before the pandemic times, all the premium and good cars have closed their unit in India due to the low number of sales which they have recorded.
But recently all these brands have been sent back to India because they are getting good responses. The pandemic lockdown has changed the people a lot. When we talk about car stuff, people before the pandemic used to go to showrooms and just buy a car which is within their budget. That was the way 80% of the people used to buy. They just wanted a car to travel from A to B with sun protection.
But in this pandemic time, people’s mindsets have changed to protect their lives in all segments. They are buying insurance, saving money for health, and at the same time buying cars that protect them from accidents and reduce the money loss on it.
This change has become a good move for the future of India, as the car brands are ready to produce cars which high safe for the passengers. We all know the safety segment in cars is owned by TATA and Mahindra. The top 5 safest cars in India within the budget are won by these 2 companies.
Non-safety cars:
Most of the companies produce a maximum number of cars in a financial year with 0 safety features. People in the past used to buy only those cars for easy maintenance and other costs of that is almost 0. But those cars are worst to travel in Indian conditions. They don’t have the minimum safety features such as airbags and strong bodies.
In India some years back the airbag was not a necessary thing in the car, it was just a luxurious thing for a car. But now the Government of India has brought an initiative to include airbags in every car that is produced.
Does airbag save your life:
The airbag in common words is just a ballon type bag which cushions you and prevents you from hitting the things. But do you think just it saves your life? Not, (thala for a reason) keeping an airbag in a plastic car and hitting it with a lorry does plastic and airbag protect you from crashing between the lorry tiers or something stuff similar?
Most of the cars use cheap-grade iron which is almost equal to plastic, even a man’s kick can break the outer part of the car.
I have seen one video where a guy in a car unintentionally goes on by a dog’s tail, hopefully dog hasn’t gone through severe injuries, but it went through severe pain.
Later that night the gang of dogs attacked the car. They were able to remove the bumper through the mouth, headlights, and most of the outer stuff that is present. It was quite stranger for me that group of dogs have managed to screw the whole car. How could a company build this car in such a way? Where the lives of the people don’t matter to them. Rather they matter money over the lives of people.
Safety car:
I have also seen another video that was recorded recently, I think. Probably the place of the video recorder is near ghat sections roads. A car Tata Harrier was stuck in traffic and there was heavy rain during the incident. A huge rock from the mountainside hit some of the cars but the major impact was on Tata’s car. Other cars were tilted, and some were reversed and damaged with just a little impact. But the Tata had a huge impact the back tailgate was crushed but, the passengers in the back seats (3 members) were safely evacuated from the car without any major injuries.
This shows the management’s commitment to the safety of the passengers rather than money from the owners. As they have built trust among the people with their safe cars, all people are eager to buy those cars.
Maruti Suzuki 4 start JNCAP rated car:
Maruti Suzuki recently released the JNCAP results of their new 2024 model Swift. They have achieved a 4-star rating in JNCAP, which is a good one. On 3rd May the car was released in India. Let’s get into the physical overview of the car as it already launched in Japan
4th generation Swift of Japan is here:
The bonnet of the Swift is made up of clamshell which is designed in a new look. The grill of the bonnet is provided with a back, not chromium. Within the grill, we have a front parking camera and radars for the ADAS system. The headlights are the same as the previous generation. The alloys of the Swift were redesigned again. Thank god the rear door handle has moved from the top of the door to its conventional position.
The front seating feels like you are in a Baleno car the technical stuff over the car is quite familiar with Baleno. Semi-digital instrumental cluster. This Japanese variant of the car is provided with paddle shifters which are quite interesting things. All the interiors are similar to all other Suzuki variants.
The car is powered by a 3 3-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engine with hybrid technology. The car gets an electronic parking brake and other stuff.
This swift has got a 4-star rating in JNCAP (JAPAN NCAP).
Now in reality of swift car:
The above-mentioned specifications of the car are just locked with the international variants and Home country Japan variants. But now coming to the Indian variant most of the things are going to be missed.
Yeah, you have heard it right Indian version of 2024 Swift will not have most of these features. And most importantly the safety of the car will be missing. Yeah, it is true, we just got the crash results of JNCAP which is Japan’s India that only follows GNCAP or BNCAP. But the results from these NCAPs are haven’t released.
And mostly companies may not give their cars for crash tests. NCAP doesn’t buy cars the companies need to provide the cars for the test. Before you are going to buy the Swift just think of it before buying. Don’t get into the loop of NCAP because BNCAP and HNCAP results need to be provided. Until these results don’t take any steps.
